Helicopter Spins Uncontrollably into Palm Groves at Frequented Southern California Coast
A chopper hovering near a crowded California coastline abruptly began spiraling uncontrollably, ultimately dropping height and crashing into a row of palm trees as spectators observed.
Videos posted on social media capture the helicopter commencing to spiral near the beach then descending towards the perimeter of the shore, where it becomes wedged amidst palm groves and a steps close to the coastal road.

Local firefighters reported five people were transported to a medical facility including a pair who were in the chopper and were “extracted safely from the crash site” subsequent to the crash on Saturday.
Three persons on the pavement were injured. Specifics on their condition were still under review.
